March Food Drive is here! This annual fundraising event is something Neighborhood House takes part in each year that directly supports our Food Support program. This year we have a goal of raising $175,000!
We are all experiencing inflation and supply-chain issues. These issues have been creating additional barriers for our participants and our neighbors to afford food and other bills. The rising costs of food has also created challenges for Neighborhood House. Items that used to be free or of little cost for our Food Markets are costlier than ever. And this is why this March Food Drive is so important.
How can you get involved?
Your gift during March Food Drive will have an increased impact for Neighborhood House. As we take part in this statewide campaign, the more money we raise from now until April 10 the more funds we will receive from Minnesota FoodShare, directly supporting our Food Markets. And of course these additional resources enable us to provide support for more people desperately in need of food.
Create a fundraiser (Individual or as a Team!)
You can now start a fundraiser yourself or with a team and fundraise for Neighborhood House’s March Food Drive. This is a fun way to get involved, make a bigger impact and possibly even win cool prizes like Neighborhood House swag!
Because of our purchasing power and sources, we are able to buy more food for less money, however we know that food drives are a great way to engage and still bring in lots of food that our participants so desperately need
Whether in the Food Market, at a Fresh Produce Pick-up event or in one of our other programs, Neighborhood House is always looking for volunteers.
