Group volunteer opportunities
We often have a need for groups to help us with various projects and events. This is where your group comes in! If your group is interested in volunteering at Neighborhood House take a look at opportunities available and sign-up or reach out to us!
Current one-time/group opportunities:
- Winter/Spring Fresh Produce Distribution volunteering – Neighborhood House is offering Fresh Produce Distributions from November 2022 through May 2023. Families can pick up free fresh fruits and vegetables at the Metro State University once per month. Volunteers will sort and bag produce, distribute produce to families, and help clean up after the distribution ends.
- Kowalski’s March Food Drive volunteering – We are again partnering with Kowalski’s on Grand Ave to host on-site food drives throughout our March Food Drive. Staff and shoppers alike look forward to our visit every year, and volunteers consistently value this connection with our Saint Paul community as we work together to fill our shelves at our two free food markets. Volunteers will greet customers and distribute our food wish list. This is a family-friendly volunteer event, and youth (age 5+) with adults are welcome to join in the fun of the drive.
Ready to volunteer?
We invite you to join our hundreds of yearly volunteers, meet new friends, engage with families and help us make a positive impact in their lives!
