Neighborhood House wants to give a big shout out and thank you to its Literacy and Adult Education team for baking homemade pies in support of March Food Drive. This is an annual tradition for the team and this year they raised over $200, making the event the most successful Pi Day fundraiser to date!
Pies included: Cherry almond, chocolate mousse, pumpkin, puppy chow, Oreo, key lime, lemon, peanut butter, peach and pear.
The team also put together a March Madness bracket challenge for staff for $5.00 per bracket. All proceeds will go to March Food Drive and the winner will receive a trophy for their desk.
