Whether you are looking for a place to hangout with friends or opportunities for growth, you should consider joining T.M.I. The Teen Mentorship Initiative is a program with the goal of creating a safe, judgment free place where you can grow and develop your skills while having fun. Through activities, conversation, and opportunities we will work to find what your passions are in life and how to get there!
Consider joining T.M.I. if you:
- Are interested in volunteer or career opportunities
- Want to find ways to grow personally, academically, or professionally
- Are curious about what life after high school could be like for you
- Want to meet with mentors that can provide wisdom and advice
- Want to develop your skill set in leadership and communication to become an advocate for the community
- Want to learn about art, culture, and music
- Want to learn how to be more confident in yourself and the decisions you make
- Want to be a part of an accepting, judgment free, inclusive community of people your age
What to expect:
- A safe, accepting environment where you can be yourself
- New friends
- Communication and leadership workshops
- Volunteer and career exploration opportunities
- Panels with mentors and professionals
- Personal mentorship
- Group conversations about issues you share with others or things you are working towards
Note: This is an open-door program, and you are not required to show up every week, however, consistent participation is encouraged. We welcome all races, identities, backgrounds, and cultures to participate! Our doors are always open, so feel free to stop in and see if the group is a fit for you.
