How much does it cost to participate in youth programming?
Youth programming is provided for free.
What is the minimum age requirement to participate in youth programming?
Generally, participants must be at least six (6) years old to participate. Depending on the youth program, there may be different age requirements for participants.
How can I enroll my child for Youth programming?
A parent or legal guardian can sign their child up for any youth program being offered by filling out our online form here. Please note that applying does not guarantee that your child is enrolled.
Who is eligible to enroll in your programs?
Youth ages 6-18 are eligible to enroll in programming.
Is there an enrollment deadline for each program?
-There is no enrollment deadline. Participants are accepted on a first-come-first served basis until full.

- Summer: 50 capacities | application deadline: June 13
Is food provided during programming?

- - Our program provides all youth a snack and meal during programming. Currently, Fall 2025, we are unable to provide meals due to renovations. Only snacks will be provided until further notice.

Do we provide transportation for youth?
We only provide transportation for participants to and from Neighborhood House on field trips.
Are parents allowed to go on field trips?
Parents are not allowed to attend field trips. However, there may be opportunities where parents are able to join and will be notified ahead of time.
What are the hours of your programs?
Mondays-Thursdays
- After School Program: Mondays-Thursdays, 3pm-6pm
- Teen Mentorship Initiative: Mondays and Thursdays, 6-8pm
- Kids Imagine: Mondays-Thursdays, 6-8pm
- Summer Sunrise program: Mondays-Thursdays, 9am-3pm (summertime only)
What type of proteins/meat/ingredients are served in your meals?
All meals come with chicken, beef, or turkey protein. We do our best to provide alternatives for our participants who have food allergies/restrictions.
Can my kids bring their own snack/meal?
Yes, they are more than welcome to bring their own snack/meal.
