DESCRIPTION:Taking place from February 27 -April 9\, March Food Drive – an annual fundraiser – helps Neighborhood House distribute nearly one million pounds of healthy\, fresh and culturally-appropriate foods to our diverse group of more than 16\,000 participants visiting us annually\, allowing them to maintain their dignity\, health and culture during a challenging time in their lives. \nEach dollar donated to the Neighborhood House Food Support Program will have a portion matched by MN FoodShare? The  more money and food items (lbs.) donated throughout March Food Drive\, the more funds we receive from MN FoodShare.

ID is not required to attend. \nRecommendations: You will want to bring your own bags and a cart if you have one. Covid-19: This event is held indoors\, masks are encouraged. \nOther: Please note\, your fist visit will require an onsite registration process that will take 5-10 minutes to complete. \nParking: You can park in the Metro State ramp parking for $5. Otherwise\,\nstreet parking is available along 7th St. and Bates Ave. \nWeather Permitting – If there is winter storm or severe winter weather warning\, we may cancel the event. It also helps with their reading skills to further their education.   3:00 pm – 5:30pm Monday-Thursday\nHomework Help: Youth participants k-12 can receive 1 on 1 academic support with youth staffs. Teens can also gain leadership skills by assisting with K-5 students on their Homework assignments. 3:30pm-6:00pm Monday-Thursday\nKids Imagine: Kids imagine is in partnership with Adult Education.
